Meeting Prep Coach ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application.

1. Information We Collect

Calendar Data

With your permission, the app accesses your Apple Calendar and/or Google Calendar to retrieve upcoming meeting events, including event titles, dates, times, and attendee email addresses. This data is used solely to generate meeting briefings.

Manually Added Meetings

Any meetings you add manually within the app are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the core functionality of the app:

  • Displaying your upcoming meetings within the app
  • Using AI to generate briefing notes based on attendee information from your calendar
  • Storing briefing notes locally on your device for quick access
  • Saving your preferences and manually added meetings between sessions

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that collect, store, or process your personal information. Specifically:

  • Your calendar data is only used locally and for AI research requests to generate briefings
  • Briefing notes generated by AI are cached locally on your device
  • We have no backend database or server-side storage of any user data

4. Third-Party Services

AI Research

When you generate a meeting briefing, attendee names and publicly available information are used to generate your briefing notes. This is handled securely and no personal data is stored on our servers.

Google (Optional)

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, the app uses Google Sign-In and the Google Calendar API. Google's data usage is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Apple Calendar (Optional)

Calendar access via Apple's EventKit framework is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Analytics & Tracking

Meeting Prep Coach does not collect analytics, does not use tracking technologies, and does not include any advertising SDKs. We do not know how you use the app, what meetings you have, or anything about you personally.

6. Children's Privacy

Meeting Prep Coach is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
